Design Architect for new building
The prominent site is highly visible from lower Manhattan, the New Jersey Turnpike, and excursion boats traveling to and from Manhattan to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. This 173,000 sq.ft. science center houses 60,000 sq.ft. of "hands-on" science exhibits, a 400-seat Omnimax Theater (the largest in the United States), a 300-seat Science Theater/Auditorium, and a 3-D Laser Show. Observation decks offer spectacular 360-degree views of lower Manhattan.
