Verner Johnson, Inc. has planned and designed over a fifteen IMAX theaters. This experience has given us a thorough understanding of the complex planning issues and various technologies that are associated with the three major theater types: domed and flat screen 2-D theaters and flat screen 3-D theaters. With each new theater, we extend and refine the IMAX standard geometries, materials, and lighting systems in order to maximize the theater visitor’s experience by providing the finest possible visual and acoustical performance space.
